Privacy Policy
The Public Foundation “HOPE – Help Others Pursue Education”, located at: Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty city, BIN 250440026890 (hereinafter referred to as the “Foundation”), is the owner of a database containing personal data that the Foundation collects when Users visit/use the Foundation's Platforms. In this Privacy Policy, the Foundation has collected information about what personal data the Foundation collects, how and for what purposes it uses personal data, what is the basis for using personal data, to whom personal data is transferred, and how Users can exercise their rights.
This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Public Agreement for the Sale of Tickets to the Event (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement").
1. DEFINITIONS
Foundation – Public Foundation “HOPE – Help Others Pursue Education”, a legal entity registered in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, BIN 250440026890.
Website – an information system available on the Internet at the domain names
https://hopeworldcongress.com/, intended for providing services to Customers.
Partner – individuals/legal entities, residents/non-residents, including but not limited to Sellers, Banks, etc., who are involved in the provision of Services by the Seller.
Partners may act independently or be affiliated with the Seller and/or Platform through shared ownership or common control.
Platform – all and any communication channels through which personal data is received and/or transmitted, including but not limited to:
- the Website;
- customer support service;
- social media pages, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Telegram;
- any other communication channels.
Users – individuals interacting with the Foundation through the Platform on their own behalf, or individuals acting on behalf of and in the interests of a legal entity they represent, as well as individual entrepreneurs, including registered and unregistered (unauthenticated) users
Cookies - small text files stored by the browser containing data about sites visited by the Customer. Cookies serve various functions, such as enabling efficient page navigation, saving preferences, and enhancing the user experience. They may also help ensure that online advertisements shown to the User align with their interests.
All definitions used in this Privacy Policy are interpreted in accordance with those outlined in the Agreement and/or other appendices, policies, rules, supplements, statements, and consents that form an integral part of the Agreement, or in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. INFORMATION COLLECTED AND PROCESSED BY THE FOUNDATION
The Foundation may request Users to provide personal information required to deliver the requested services or consultations via the Platform. Users also submit personal data to the Foundation when registering or interacting on the Platform. The personal data that Users transfer to the Foundation to fulfill their obligations under the agreements are listed in the Foundation's Agreement and/or all other appendices, policies, rules, supplements, statements and consents that are an integral part of the Foundation's Agreement.
The Foundation collects and processes the following categories of personal data:
data that Users transfer to the Foundation;
data that the Foundation collects automatically;
User data that the Foundation receives from Partners and other persons directly or indirectly related to the Foundation in the process of providing Services requested by Users.
Personal data provided by Users includes:
identification data – data that allows you to identify a User, including, but not limited to, the following types of data: last name, first name, gender, date of birth, email address, home address, cell phone number, individual identification number, account login;
Transaction data – information about purchases, orders, refunds, and customer support requests made through the Platform;
reviews that Users leave about Services on the Platform, as well as other comments and recommendations.

The Foundation also collects information about User interactions with the Platform using cookies, which include:
usage data - includes, but is not limited to information about how Users interact with the Platform, which pages the User views, which links the User follows in the Site, which Services the User is interested in, the date and time of access to the Platform, as well as the websites from which the User was redirected to the Platform (only in cases when the transition is made from an Internet resource of a search engine or from an Internet resource where the Foundation's advertising is placed), data on the User's location in real time during the interaction.

Data that the Foundation receives from Partners:
The Foundation may also receive other data of Users from Partners, other persons.
In order to optimize and personalize the Platform's operation, personal data or data collected automatically, received from Users and/or Partners and/or other persons, may be combined into one data pool or accumulated in independent databases and processed separately.
All actions of the Foundation shall be carried out in compliance with the rights of Users provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Users by written request may refuse to use a number of personal data, and this may mean that the User will not be able to use any functionality of the Platform, and/or receive full information, access to certain services and/or information.
3. PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING
The Foundation may collect and process personal data for the following purposes:
Provision of Services – to provide information about the Services, processing of Orders, identification of Users on the Platform, formation of profiles on the Platform for new Users, as well as for customer support;
Claims handling and dispute resolution – to obtain complete and detailed information about the details of claims and/or disputes necessary for their resolution;
Platform administration - for administration of User profiles, troubleshooting, reporting and data posting, performing other administrative actions to manage the Platform.
Improving the quality of Services, business development - to improve the quality, including customization of the Platform taking into account the preferences and interests of Users, offering new Services. The Foundation uses personal data to conduct research, analysis, surveys, which will help to analyze Users' shopping preferences, identify Services that best meet Users' requirements and evaluate the effectiveness of advertising, to monitor Users' satisfaction.
Marketing – for informing Users about the Services, sending information about promotions, special offers and all any other materials.
Personalized advertising – to identify Users' interests and/or display the most relevant advertisements, offers.
Fulfillment of legal obligations - the Foundation has obligations under the law and a range of personal data is processed by the Foundation in order to fulfill such obligations.
Statistical data. 4. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
The moment the User starts using the Platform, the User agrees with this Privacy Policy and accepts it in full without additions and exceptions, and means his/her full unconditional consent to the collection, systematization, accumulation, storage (clarification, update, change), processing, use, transfer to third parties, depersonalization, blocking, destruction and trans-border transfer of personal data recorded on electronic, paper, and (or) other media, available in any sources, including publicly available, that have been, will or may be known to the Company and/or Partners or obtained by them from the User and/or by any means that do not contradict the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the course of their activities and/or when using any sources, including publicly available ones.
The Consent is valid during the entire term of the Agreement, and for 3 (three) years after its termination.
In case of disagreement with the terms of the Privacy Policy, the User must stop using the Platform immediately.
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Platform, and the Foundation does not control and is not responsible for websites, applications of third parties to which the User can go through the available links.
The Foundation does not verify the reliability of the data provided by the User of the Site, Application. The User shall bear all responsibility for the reliability independently in the manner and on the terms established by the requirements of the norms of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
5. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
The Foundation takes all necessary organizational, technical and legal measures to protect personal data of Users in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Obligations of the User:
Providing the Foundation with access to personal data, the User guarantees their reliability, as well as undertakes to notify the Foundation about changes in personal data. The Foundation recommends Users to observe basic security measures for personal devices through which access to the Platform, passwords and personal information is provided, including the following security measures:
- use strong passwords, update passwords periodically, and follow basic measures to securely store passwords and account names;
- use caution when responding to an email, phone call, messenger message or letter from anyone requesting a password, ID or bank card details and other data. Do not share such data, call the support team to clarify the situation regarding the legitimacy of the data request received;
- enter the password and credit card number only through a secure connection in the online store (the “https/http” icon in the browser address bar means that the connection is secure).
The User bears full responsibility for the negative consequences caused by improper diligence of the User, related to the access of unauthorized persons to the personal data of the User.
6. USER RIGHTS
The User has a number of rights in relation to their personal data.
The User has the right to know about the personal data held by the Foundation, which the Foundation stores and processes.
The User has the right to receive information about how their personal data is used. All information about the purposes of use, methods of collection and processing of personal data, as well as the terms of processing and storage of personal data can be read in this Privacy Policy, as well as in the Agreement and/or its integral parts.
The User has the right to request changes or additions to personal data, correction of inaccurate information about himself/herself.
In some cases, the Foundation may request from the User supporting documents, including an identity document.
If the User is registered on the Platform, he/she may change or update some personal data in the relevant section of his/her account on the Platform. The User has the right to request that the Foundation block (actions to temporarily stop the collection and processing of data) personal data if there is information about the violation of the conditions of collection and processing of personal data by the Foundation.
The User has the right to request that the Foundation destroy personal data when data collection and processing is carried out by the Foundation on the basis of consent. The Foundation reserves the right to process personal data as specified in this Policy.
The User has the right to withdraw consent to the collection, processing, of personal data at any time.
These rights can be exercised by sending a prior notification to the following email address:
help@hopeworldcongress.com, the Foundation for a period of at least 30 (thirty) days before the withdrawal takes effect, calculated from the date of receipt by the Foundation of the relevant notice. The rights may not be exercised in cases where it is contrary to the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in the presence of unfulfilled obligations of the User to the Foundation.
7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If the User has a question, request to the Foundation and/or the User believes that the processing of personal data is carried out in violation of the law, the User has the right to contact the Foundation to resolve the dispute. The User also has the right to contact the authorized body in the field of personal data protection. Such an authorized body is the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Contact details of the Ministry can be found at the link:

Users may send letters and complaints in the manner specified in this Policy in the “Contacts” section.
The Foundation will be happy to help with the resolution of any request.
8. TRANSFER OF DATA TO PARTNERS AND OTHERS
The Foundation may transfer personal data to Partners and other persons, including but not limited to the following persons:
Service Providers - individuals and/or legal entities with whom the Foundation has contracts for services such as transportation, postal, courier services, website hosting, hosting of the Foundation's information systems, conducting surveys, market analysis, providing marketing services, conducting polls, advertising partners, providing other services to improve the quality of our work, goods and services.
Financial institutions - banks and/or credit institutions to which the Foundation may provide personal data of Users, IIN, cell phone number and name, as indicated during registration. Further collection, processing, storage, use, transfer and so on of Users' personal data is carried out on the basis of a separate consent, which Financial Institutions receive on their Internet resources independently.
State authorities, courts. - The Foundation may disclose personal data of Users, if it is requested by law enforcement agencies, courts or persons enforcing court decisions, if such request complies with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
9. DATA TRANSFER TO OTHER COUNTRIES
The Foundation may transfer abroad and store personal data of Users abroad. In case of cross-border data transfer, the Foundation shall take measures required to ensure data security.
10. PERSONAL DATA STORAGE
The period of storage of personal data depends on the purpose of processing and the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Foundation keeps personal data as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes of data collection and processing, as well as to fulfill the Foundation's obligations under the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the legislation on accounting and financial reporting, after which the Foundation destroys/deletes the personal data.
To determine the period of storage of personal data, the Foundation takes into account the nature and sensitivity of personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use of personal data, the purposes for which the Foundation collects personal data, as well as the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A user may request the Foundation to destroy his/her account. The account, which includes but is not limited to the following - name, surname, IIN, phone number, e-mail, gender, date of birth and language of communication, will be deleted. At the same time, information about the User's interaction with the Platform, electronic and paper purchase history will be retained. Once the account is deleted, the Foundation will not communicate with the User for the fulfillment of obligations or for marketing or other purposes until the User independently restores the account.
In case of any questions regarding the data retention period, request for account destruction, Users may contact the Foundation in the manner specified in the “Contact Us” section of this Privacy Policy.
11. LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
The Foundation Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. Users may also link to third-party websites from our Platform. These may be websites of banks and credit organizations with which the Foundation cooperates. The Foundation is not responsible for the content of these websites or services, their policies, terms of collection and processing of users' personal data. Please note that third parties are governed by their own privacy policies. We ask Users to familiarize themselves with such privacy policies on third-party resources.
12. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
The Foundation may unilaterally, at its discretion, make changes to the Privacy Policy that do not violate the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Foundation considers such letters, complaints, if they are sent with a note “personal data”, and reserves the right not to respond to requests, complaints of Users sent by other means of communication, including through social networks.
The Foundation recommends Users not to leave their personal data on the pages in social networks.
